Make a one-time investment of $350,000 CAD with an authorized financial intermediary.

$ 1,200,000 CAD Property

Make a refundable $1,200,000 CAD passive government guaranteed investment for a period of five years -bearing no interest.

Process
The Quebec Immigrant Investor Program requires a non-refundable investment of $350,000 CAD with an authorized financial intermediary OR a $1,200,000 CAD passive government guaranteed investment held for a period of five years with no interest. Successful applicants are issued a selection certificate from Quebec, allowing them to obtain Canadian permanent residence. After three years of living in Canada, applicants may be eligible to apply for citizenship.
The Quebec Immigrant Investor program requirements change according to the level of investment.
However, as an investor, you are required to:
  • Main applicant must have a legally acquired personal net worth of $2 million CAD proof of the origin of the funds
  • Applicant must intend to settle in Quebec
  • Main applicant must have prior business experience of at least 2 years
  • Applicant must provide a medical certificate
  • Applicant must provide a police report and must be determined to be of good character
  • Once the applicant becomes a permanent resident, they are required to be physically present in Canada for 2 out of 5 years
Timeline:

0-1 month: Gather the necessary documents and submit an application, along with the Quebec application fees.
5-6 months: Applicants may be required to pass an interview with an immigration officer.
9-10 months: The applicant receives the Quebec Certificate of Selection and can apply for permanent residency.
3 years: Receipt of the Certificate of Permanent Residence. Can apply for citizenship.
