Latvia Residency Program

Full Service Provider - Concierge | Financials&Legals | Property Acquisitions

Latvia is situated in Northern Europe on the Baltic Sea and is known for its rich heritage, incredible local cuisine, and stunning mix of art nouveau and medieval architecture. Latvia attracts visitors from all over the world. Though the official language is Latvian, Russian is also widely spoken by a large percent of the population.

The capital and largest city of Latvia is Riga where more than a third of the country's population lives and works. It is the political, economic, and cultural center of this small but proud country. Latvia has been a member of the UN since 1991 and a member of the EU and NATO since 2004. In 2007, Latvia joined Europe’s Schengen Area, which brought significant benefits to the country’s citizens and residents.

The Latvia Residence-by-Investment Program was launched on 1 July 2010 in an effort to overcome the economic crisis of 2007– 2009.
